Greater Richmond Council of Teachers of Mathematics

To accomplish our purposes, the Council supports teachers of mathematics at all levels by

•  awarding Professional Development Grants to teachers seeking to further their knowledge through coursework, institute attendance, or participation in a special project; and 
•  recognizing one individual annually with the GRCTM Distinguished Service Award.

Our purposes are:

• encouraging an active interest in and an appreciation of mathematics; 
•  affording a medium for exchange of views regarding the teaching of mathematics; and 
• promoting cooperative study of problems of mathematics education at all levels.

We hope you will seriously consider applying for one of the Grants or nominating someone for the Award.
